Root Xiaomi Redmi 1s Android smartphone

Step (1): At first, download the file update.zip to your computer and move the downloaded file on your smartphone SD card using USB cable.

Step (2): When file is moved, disconnect your Redmi 1S phone appropriately from the USB cable and boot into Mi-Recovery.

(To boot into Mi-Recovery, launch the Updater app then press the menu/options button and after that from the menu select "Reboot to recovery mode")

Step (3): In the Mi-recovery select and confirm ‘English’ language (You can also select "Chinese" language if you are able to understand).

Step (4): After that select and confirm ‘Install update.zip to System’. Here you need to keep patience, Installation will take few seconds.

Step (5): Once installation is completed then select and confirm "Reboot".

Step (6): After rebooting, go to Security ---> Permission and activate Root permission

Step (1): Firstly, go to Security ---> Permission and deactivate Root permission

Step (2): Now download the file UnRootNative_Redmi1S.zip to your computer and move the downloaded file on your smartphone SD card using USB cable. And rename the downloded file name from UnRootNative_Redmi1S.zip to update.zip.

Step (3): After that disconnect your Redmi 1S adnroid phone appropriately from the USB cable and boot into Mi-Recovery.

(To boot into Mi-Recovery, launch the Updater app then press the menu/options button and after that from the menu select "Reboot to recovery mode")

Step (4): In the Mi-recovery select and confirm your preferred language according to your wish (if you know English language then select "English" or if you know Chinese language then selct "Chinese").

Step (5): Now, select and confirm "Install update.zip to System", it will take few seconds. 

Step (6): Once Installation completed, select and confirm "Reboot".
