Here a very nice news for the Windows 8 users and news is
that, Microsoft has provided a user-friendly website by which user will be able
to remove all the personal settings very swiftly and clearly. Which users are
syncing through their Microsoft account to Windows 8 and RT also.
As we all know about the one of the extensive inefficiency
in Windows 8/RT is PC-to-PC settings sync. From our Microsoft account after
signing, we are free for sync a broad change of settings, even including Metro
and desktop customization, passwords, app and browser settings and much more.
As if you reset or refresh your PC or use another PC and
sign-in with your same Microsoft account then these settings are synced to that
new device. And you can pick up your personalized conditions where you left
off. It’s an awesome feature.
But what will be when we wish to blow away all those
customized settings and starting over from gash? Do you need to use a different
Microsoft account for this?
Specially for these situation Microsoft provides a
appropriate website, and that is Windows 8 Personal Settings, which is very
helpful in removing those synced settings. There are two steps:
- Turn off sync settings on each PC; First go on PC Settings, and the option of Settings Sync and just make disable the settings synchronization. You have to do this on the all PC which you use to sign-in with your Microsoft account.
- After that go for Windows 8 Personal Settings site and just click the Remove button for remove your personal settings from the SkyDrive cloud.
And thus you can remove your personal setting. i have still
not tested this service for change, but i will must do it. Its because i
like to use setting sync. And i hope it
will help you so much as mention above.
