Those days have gone when people were addicted to Books, outdoor games, theatre arts, and many other social activities. In these days all the people (kids, young and old) are addicted to only one thing that is called "Internet".
We all spend many hours in browsing various websites such as Facebook, Twitter, Google+, YouTube and many other websites every day. But people feel very jumpy when someone says that – you are an internet worm.

We all know that the internet has been the important part of our daily life. But we need to do all the work in an appropriate manner and for that we must have any time management software to track how much time we spend on the Internet.
Have you ever thought about how much time you spend on the Internet every day? If not, then it's time to think so.
If you are using or like to use the Google Chrome Browser for browsing Internet, then a very useful time-tracking app is available for you called Web Timer.
What is Web Timer?
Web Timer is a Google Chrome extension which allows you to track how much time you spend on the web daily, and where you spend it. By using this extension, you can be aware that how much time you spend on less productive social networking sites and other websites.
At first, you have to download and Install Web Timer Chrome extension from the Google Chrome Web Store. When installation completes, it adds a red & white colour clock icon in the Omni bar as shown in below screenshot.
Just after the installation, Web Timer starts tracking what websites you visit and how much time you spend on which websites. When you will click on this icon, it will display the time you spent on the web. The interesting thing is, this extension has a background timer that tracks (silently) the time you spend on Google Chrome.
Important note: Web Timer only works if the Google Chrome is in focus. If you are using any other browser or tool by leaving Chrome idle, it wouldn't count the time in your Google Chrome browsing.
This time-tracking extension displays the complete reports in a pie-chart form and also allows you to share the data with your friends on Facebook (a screenshot is shown below). From here, you can very easily check the total time you spent on a particular website and total time spent on the web daily.
And by any reason if you do not wish to track the time for some selected websites, then you can freely create the custom list of websites.
To create the custom list, make a right-click on Clock icon and select 'Options'. Now, enter the website link (which you wish to ignore) in the box of Sites to Ignore. Even, you can easily set the chart display limit according to your wish. Default is 7, you can set your own.
