How to identify using Google’s image search
Step (1): Firstly, go to Google’s image search from here and Click on camera icon which is situated inside the search box.
Step (2): After clicking a pop-up will appear with two options - Paste image URL, Upload an image.
To search by URL select the option of Paste image URL and to search by your photograph select the option of Upload an image. (For the example "Upload an image" option used here)
Step (3): Select Upload an image option and Click on Choose file button to select the photograph from your PC which you want to search on web.
Step (4): And just within seconds Google will search for similar images on the web and will show you a list of all images that matched with the uploaded image. For the example a screenshot is shown below.
Thus you can easily find out where you have used your photograph or where your photographs are being used.
Similar to Google’s image search, Reverse Image Search is also a useful way. Reverse Image Search is kind of a search that doesn't require any text, you can easily perform search using image upload or image URL. Simply we can say, TinEye Reverse Image Search is alternative of Google’s image search.
How to identify using TinEye Reverse Image Search
Step (2): Alike Google’s image search, two options are also available here. Make a click on Choose file button to select the photograph from your computer which you want to search on internet.
Step (3): Just after selecting photograph from your computer, it will make a quick search and will show you the complete list of all images that matched with your uploaded image.
Interesting thing with TinEye Reverse Image Search is, it provides you the complete details of the photograph such as image type and size, link of webpage, crawled date etc.
