Online banking is a system which
allows you to perform banking activities at home through the internet. One of the greatest and
useful benefits of Internet banking is that it offers you the independency to transfer
money anytime anywhere without even visiting your Bank’s branch.
Using the service of Online
banking you can freely transfer money within your own personal account in same
bank or in someone's account within your bank. You can send money in any bank
account of India and abroad also.
Most of the people are using
SBI account but still only few % people are using the facility of SBI Net
Banking. Maybe they are still unknown about how to use SBI net banking or they
feel difficulty to using SBI net banking.
So today in this article, I am going to show you how to transfer money through SBI net banking. Here I am using the example of transfer money to other bank account (SBI to HDFC). Follow the below mentioned step-wise guide:

Steps to transfer money from
SBI to other bank account
Steps (1): Firstly, Login to
your SBI account. You can go on login page from here.
Steps (2): Before transferring
the funds to another account you will have to add them (on which account you
want to transfer money) as beneficiary. So, Go on Profile tab and then select Manage beneficiary option.
You will see three options such
as: Intra-Bank Beneficiary, Inter-Bank Beneficiary and State Bank Group Beneficiary.
Here you will have to select Inter-bank beneficiary option to transfer the fund
to someone else account in another bank.
Steps (3): In next page, you
will have to fill-up all the required details like Name, Account number, address
and IFSC code etc. After entering all the details, click on Submit button.
Steps (4): The bank may take
upto one day in beneficiary approval. After activation you can move on with
next step, so you have to wait till approval. When your account is activated,
you will get a SMS notification.
Steps (5): After the
beneficiary approval, login to your SBI account. Now Go to Payment/ Transfer tab
and just select the Inter-bank beneficiary option.
Steps (6): In next page you
have to select the transaction type as NEFT or RTGS. If you are transferring
less than 2 lakh then select NEFT.
Steps (7): Now you have to choose
the Beneficiary name and enter the amount which you want to transfer. After that
select the account number and accept the terms and conditions. Finally click on Submit button.
Note: You may be asked to
verify your details once again, so make sure the details you entered are correct
and then click on submit button.
That’s it! Now your money will be
transferred within next working hours of the bank. Thus you can think about the easiness
and comfort ability of transferring money through net banking.
