reason that Google recently associated the offline feature in Gmail. By the help of this offline
feature you can freely access your Gmail inbox offline. You will be also able
to read the emails from your Gmail inbox in the absence of internet connection.
Surprising news for you is – you can also download the attachments at your PC
when you are offline.
Important Note: This Gmail offline
feature is only usable in Google Chrome browser. So firstly, Install Google Chrome browser on your computer if you are using other browsers and then follow
below mentioned steps.

How to Enable Gmail's Offline
Mode
Step (1): At first, log-in to your Gmail
account using Google Chrome browser.
Step (2): Go to Settings option at
the top right-side corner and just select the Offline tab.
Step (3): After clicking on offline tab
you will see the link of Install Gmail Offline. So, just click on that link.
Step (4): This link will redirect you on
Gmail offline app page in chrome web-store. Here you have to click on + free
button.
Step (5): Now, a pop-up box will appear
as shown below. You have to click on Add button to install the Gmail Offline
app at your chrome browser.
Step (6): when installation is completed,
Open a new tab in your browser and then you will see the Gmail offline app in
the group of installed apps in your browser as shown in screenshot.
Step (7): 4. Click on Gmail offline app
to enable the offline use. From the
options, choose Allow offline mail radio button and click on Continue.
That’s it! Now, you can freely access your Gmail
account without any internet connection. Use Gmail offline feature and share your experience with us.
How to Configure the Gmail offline
settings
When you are completely ready to use the
Gmail offline feature, you can customize the mail setting by making a click on
the Gear icon. You can select the time from when you wish to download the
emails for your offline reading such as: from past week, two weeks or month.
Here, you have also an option of setup
vacation responder to leave automatic reply when you’re not available.
