It is possible you have suffered from this type of problem, when you downloaded any movie from the internet using Torrent. But when you have played that movie then you noticed - No audio coming from Downloaded Movie. And as you saw this problem you got upset and just deleted the movie.
Don’t worry! Even I have also done this act many times when I was unknown from its solution. So, I am going to share its simple solution with you.
This is one of the common issues and it happens with most ripped movies which have downloaded online. The issue is generally encountered with those movies (mainly in dual-audio movies) having the audio codec as AC3 (A52) and channels as 3F2R/LFE (3 Front, 2 Rear and plus low frequency), which is 5.1 surround sound.
This is the main reason; you might not be able to hear any audio in the case of AC3 codec or the relevant codec pack is not installed or 6-channel surround sound audio output is not being supported by your system.
This is the main reason; you might not be able to hear any audio in the case of AC3 codec or the relevant codec pack is not installed or 6-channel surround sound audio output is not being supported by your system.
But stop worrying; there is a very simple way to enable the audio on the downloaded movies using torrents. Here I will talk about the simplest way in the place of asking you to install codecs because they’ve very less chance of working.
The tips and tricks I am sharing here that is only possible with VLC player. So, you need to use VLC player to play movies your downloaded movie. VLC player is undoubtedly one of the best multimedia players which are able to support most of the codecs such as MPEG-2, DivX, H.264, MKV, etc.

In VLC Player, simply open the video file. Then make a right-click on the video option, go to Audio --> Audio Device and just change it from the option of 5.1 to “Stereo” (Mono and 2 Front 2 Rear option should also work). Now you’ll be able to hear the vocals too, presuming the background music could be heard before. To change between the audio devices quickly, you can use the keyboard hotkey Shift + A in VLC player.
Note: A downside of this simple way is that you will have to make the change next time again in VLC player whenever you will play those videos which have no audio available.
Alternate Method to fix this problem:
This method will be helpful for you if your computer doesn’t have 5.1 surround sounds. So, here you will have to open the “Audio Manager” software and just change the configuration of speaker (output) to Stereo. By the help of this method you will not have to manually make any changes in VLC player and your movies will have the stereo audio in accurate away.
